Growing up, I have always wanted to become a teacher. My dream is finally coming true. In 2012, I received my Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language (ASL) with minors in Deaf Studies and Linguistics. In 2013, I received my Master’s degree in Sign Language Teaching.
In the field of ASL and Deaf Culture pedagogy, my experience includes mentoring, tutoring and teaching University staff and faculty, new undergraduate signers, transfer students, and pre-interpreting majors.
While growing up, I have seen children, classmates, family members struggle to communicate. That experience is why I am passionate about the teaching of ASL and Deaf Culture. I am an innovative, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable teacher of American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Culture. My goal is share the undeniable benefits to all children and adults of varied experience and backgrounds.
